30 July 2012

In the coming years the net books will replace textbooks for Yamal school pupils. As Director of the Department of Education of the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District Irina Sidorova told, since the new school year, all second graders of all Yamal schools would switch to teaching with the help of net books. According to her, this innovation, responds the new requirements of the federal educational standards.

The workplace of primary school pupils should be provided not only with textbooks, but also with a personal computer. Already by the fourth grade a child should not only have knowledge of the subjects, but also should be skilled in working with sources of information, to have skills how to process and present in different forms. Netbooks will have access to the Internet and the ability to connect to Wi-Fi, which will allow students to work with your computer not only in the classroom, but also at home.

The project will be implemented step by step. During three years it is planned to equip all the primary school of Yamal.
