Society and culture: Logo of the Year of Culture in Russia – 2014 approved

The Federation Council Speaker Valentina Matviyenko, who heads the organizing committee for the Year of Culture in Russia in 2014, adopted its logo.

This version of the logo has been forwarded to the Chairman of the Organizing Committee after discussion on December 23, 2013 at a meeting of the Public Council under the Ministry of Culture of Russia.

Let us remind, that according to the decree of President of Russia Vladimir Putin the upcoming 2014 is declared the Year of Culture.
