Information technology and museums: Mobile application “Books of the State Tretyakov Gallery” launched

The State Tretyakov Gallery launched the mobile application “Books of the State Tretyakov Gallery”. This was announced by Deputy Director for educational and publishing activity Marina Elzesser.

“We published a mobile app, which does not have analogue in our country. This is a kiosk, which is called “Books of the State Tretyakov Gallery, where will be available for downloading our brochure collection, literary and scientific works”, – she said.

M. Elzesser noted that the application can be used as “reader”: to change the font and screen brightness as well as zooming. The kiosk is available to smart phone users on the basis of iOs and Android.

According to representative of the museum, the online library includes the complete e-version of the catalogue dedicated to the exhibition of works by Valentin Serov, which was opened in the Crimean Val.
