Ivan Ivanovich Poltavtsev (1917-1980) - choral conductor, professor. Honored Artist of the RSFSR. In 1957, at the Leningrad Institute of Culture. NK Krupskaya founded the Department of Academic Choir and headed it for more than 20 years.
