In administrative terms, the Yekaterinoslav province first made up part of the Novorossiysk province, under the name of the Catherine Province.In 1783, Yekaterinoslav Vicerry was formed, in 1803 - the Yekaterinoslav province.In 1874, the Aleksandrovsky district was divided into two counties: Aleksandrovsky and Mariupol.In 1887, Rostovsky was separated from the Yekaterinoslav province on the Don by the county and the Taganrog mayor and the province remained in 8 counties.Abolished in 1925. |
