A video lecture at the Presidential Library dedicated to the centenary of the 1924 Constitution of the USSR

On January 22 a lecture dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the 1924 Constitution was held at the Presidential Library as part of the video lecture Knowledge of Russia.

The event was attended by Doctor of Political Sciences, Professor of the Department of History, Theory, State and Law of Tambov State Technical University, Professor of the Department of Public Administration and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Tambov Branch of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration Igor Ivanovich Sanzharevsky.

During the speech, the following issues were considered: the Constitution as a social contract based on the recognition of human rights and freedoms, the establishment of rules for the separation of powers, change and continuity of power; continuity in the development of the Russian state, recognizing the historically established state unity; legitimation of the construction of socialism as a natural stage on the path to communism, education and the Constitution of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics.
