The fourth part of the album includes: the cover-saver, 6 photos of the icon "The Annunciation with Saint Theodore Tiron" The photos show the general appearance and fragments of the icon
The icon presented in the album - the image of the Church of Saints Boris and Gleb in Carpenters Scene illustrates the Gospel story - the appearance of the Archangel Gabriel to the Virgin Mary with the good news that she will become the mother of God. Between the characters is a small figure of Theodore Tiron. According to one version, the icon is a copy of the non-preserved temple image of the destroyed church Annunciation on the hillfort built by Mstislav Vladimirovich in XII in honor of the birth of his son Vsevolod This is indicated by the Christian names of princes Mstislav and Vsevolod - Gabriel and Theodore, as well as pre-Mongolian iconographic features of the monument: the absence of architectural background and golden cloak of Archangel Gabriel instead of colored - of the film "The Russian icon in the collection of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve" (director Dyakonova TI, Presidential Library of BN Yeltsin, 2012)
