The second part of the album includes: a cover-screen saver, 3 photos of the icon "Apostle Peter". The photographs depict the general appearance and fragments of the icon.
Apostle Peter is one of the twelve disciples of Christ, in the Catholic Church is considered the first pope. Peter was first called by Christ to serve. The original name of the apostle was Simon, the name of Peter (stone) was given to him by Jesus Christ. On the icon presented in the album, Peter is located in the turn of three quarters, which indicates the prenadlezhnost icons to the Deesis tier. The apostle is portrayed with traditional attributes - in his left hand he holds the keys to the heavenly gates and the folded scroll, the attribute of the preacher. - Materials used on the site: "Orthodox Calendar" (URL: http://days.pravoslavie.ru/Life/life6793.htm) .
