  • Tobolsk Provincial Gazette

    The newspaper was published in 1857-1918 in Tobolsk. The Vedomosti was issued in two parts: official and unofficial. From 1893 to 1897, both parts were published separately. The official part featured the Highest orders, decrees of the government and provincial authorities, instructions of ministries, letters of appreciation, awards, job appointments, etc. The unofficial part contained materials of various societies (reports, magazines, lists, etc.), state and private announcements, a chronicle of events. The Vedomosti published the following supplements: Agriculture and Crafts Industry Department (1896-1906), School Department of the unofficial part of the Tobolsk Provincial News (1907-1917), supplements to separate numbers. 1857, 1859, 1860, 1874-1881, 1883, 1884, 1892, 1896, 1908, 1909-1913, 1917. (School Department - 1907-1913, 1915-1917).

  • Tobolsk Diocesan Gazette

    The magazine was published by the Tobolsk Eparchial Brotherhood of Demetrius of Thessaloniki in 1882-1919. Publication frequency - 2 times a month, from No. 13 of 1914 - weekly. Editors (at different times): N. A. Gorodkov (unofficial part), A. A. Gorodokov, priest G. S. Tutolmin, A. A. Zyryanov, Y. P. Afanasyev. The magazine consisted of two sections - official and unofficial. The official section published manifestos, the Highest decrees for the Department of Religious Affairs, rescripts and decrees of the Most Holy Governing Synod, the Tobolsk Consistory, eparchial news, reports of Boards of Trustees, Councils of Eparchial and District Schools, resolutions of congresses, lists of students of seminaries and schools. The unofficial section featured articles of a religious and moral and church and liturgical character on the history and issues of the mission, as well as a chronicle of events. In 1901-1916 the magazine had a supplement - "School Leaflet".

  • Tobolskiy Kray

    Local lore magazine. It was published by the Tobolsk Local Lore Society (1924-1925). Since 1926 the editor was the Tobolsk District Planning Commission, the North District Committee, and the Local Lore Society. In 1924-1925, it was entitled "Our Land". Monthly edition. The magazine featured works devoted to Tobolsk Region - its history, geography, ethnography, economics, and social life, archeology, literature, etc.

  • Tobolskaya Pravda

    The socio-political newspaper. It has been publishing in Tobolsk Region from January 17, 1932, to the present. One of the oldest newspaper in the region. It was launched on April 27, 1857, as the Tobolskie Gubernskie Vedomosti (Tobolsk Provincial News). Then it was entitled the Izvestia (News) of the Tobolsk Soviets of Workers', Soldiers' and Peasants' Deputies (from April 21 (9), 1918); Tobolsky Sever (Tobolsk North) (from January 3, 1922); Severyanin (The Northerner) (January 18, 1923); Sovetsky Sever (Soviet North) (March 28, 1928); Tobolskaya Pravda (Tobolsk Truth) (since 1932).

  • Tyumenskaya Pravda

    Daily socio-political newspaper. It was launched on May 1, 1918, as Izvestia (News) of the Tyumen Provincial and District Executive Committees of the Soviets of Workers', Peasants' and Red Army Deputies; from May 30, 1921 - Trudovoy Nabat (Labor Alarm); from November 11, 1926 - Bor'ba (Struggle) (joint publication with weekly Derevenskaya Gazeta (Village Newspaper); from November 29, 1926 - Krasnoe Znamya (Red Banner). From February 25 and December 14, 1934, the newspaper was not published. From September 2, 1944, after the establishment of Tyumen Region, the Tyumen city newspaper Krasnoe Znamya (Red Banner) became the regional newspaper entitled Tyumenskaya Pravda (Tyumen Truth). The new newspaper became a joint publication of the Tyumen Regional and City Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks), the Regional Executive Committee and City Council. Daily newspaper (except Mondays).
