Gala concert dedicated to Victory Day held in the Presidential Library
On May 7, 2024, the Presidential Library hosted a solemn event timed to coincide with the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The organizers are the Administration of the Admiralteysky district of St. Petersburg and the Presidential Library. The event was attended by veterans of the Great Patriotic War, residents of besieged Leningrad and home front workers.

On May 27, 2024, the Presidential Library celebrates 15 years since its opening. It is the largest multifunctional information, scientific, cultural and educational center. The portal of the Presidential Library presents a new scientific and educational project "Great Russia". The Head of State draws attention to the fact that, analyzing the causes that led to the world war, reflecting on its complex events, tragedies and victories, about lessons it taught – for our country and the whole world, "it is fundamentally important to rely only on archival materials, evidence of contemporaries, to exclude any ideological and politicized speculation."

On May 3, 2024, in St. Petersburg, at the House of the Press, an important campaign for the preservation of historical memory "Voices of Victory" took place. Documents on portal of Presidential Library tell about development of art during the Great Patriotic War
On May 3, 2024, the Collection "World War II in Archival documents" on the Presidential Library's portal was replenished with more than 40 photographic documents and manuscripts from the collections of the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art (RGALI) and the State Archive of the Russian Federation (GARF) of the key period of the Great Patriotic War (from November 19, 1942 to November 7, 1944).
