The XXV International Financial Congress takes place at the Presidential Library

The XXV International Financial Congress will be held from June 29 to July 1, 2016, at the platform of the Presidential Library in St. Petersburg (3 Senate Square). The library is located in the city’s historic center next to St. Isaac's Cathedral. This year's congress is dedicated to banking but also to the financial industry in general. The leading experts of the Russian and international markets, as well as the representatives of major companies and government agencies under the key theme announced as "The Future of Financial Market" will discuss the current trends in monetary policy, the issues of the economy development and economic sustainability assurance, modernization and regulation of the banking sector, the prospects for the financial, insurance and investment markets, as well as the trust management market.

Among the participants of the congress are the chairman of the Bank of Russia Elvira Nabiullina, Nobel laureate in economics Nouriel Roubini, professor of economics at Harvard University Kenneth Rogoff, senior representatives of the central (national) banks of several countries (Switzerland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Kazakhstan, Iran and others), the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision, the International Monetary Fung, the European governing and supervisory bodies, international financial experts.
