The legislation issues in the digital environment will be reviewed in the Presidential Library

On April 14, 2017 at 10:30 am (participants check in is beginning at 9:30), the VII International Scientific and Practical Conference “Legislation and information: the issues of theory and practice” will be held in the Presidential Library within the framework of the Legal Forum.

Representatives of public authorities, prosecutors, famous scientists and experts, staff employees of the libraries and other institutions that offer open access to information will be attended the event.

Participants of the conference will review the legislation of information prossesing and protection and librarianship. Discussion is improving the system of information legislation, the development of the project “National Electronic Library” and the legal issues of obtaining libraries of materials related to the digital cultural heritage. Within the framework of the event there will also be a special session on “Legal issues of preservation, restoration and use of audiovisual and photographic documents in the electronic environment.”

Electronic registration of participants of the conference will be held on the Presidential Library at the Conferences. The materials of previous conferences are available at the same section. All questions can be reviewed over e-mail at nauka-conf@prlib.ru before the registration.

At the end of the conference the collection of works of the foreign participants’ speeches will be published in Russian. The electronic version of this collection will be included in the Russian Science Citation Index RSCI and will be openly published.

On April 7, 2017, a collaborative scientific session of the Presidential Library and the Moscow State Law University named after O. E. Kutafin will be held in the oremisses of the library’s p within the framework of the “Electronic Resources of Libraries in the Russian Legal Field: Issues of Rulemaking and Realization” Legal Forum.

Media accreditation for the event in the Presidential Library is mandatory and open until 10 pm on April 13, 2017.

Please be advised, that media representatives enter the Presidential Library through an entrance № 2 with passport or picture id.
