The Presidential Library: New acquisitions

Russian Album: Literature, Culture, Public Life of Russia at the End of the XX and early XXI century (Irkutsk, 2010), compiled by A. V. Panteleyev, which is a kind of photolithography of events, the participant and witness of which in most cases was the author himself. The album contains information about writers, artists, poets, composers, scientists, military, living and creating in the name of Russia.

Monograph B. I. Prediger The formation of the system of secular education in the German schools of Saratov province of the second half of the XIX - early XX century (M., 2017) is devoted to the historical process of transition of German rural and urban primary schools to a new type of secular schools in Saratov province attracting German schools of the Samara province. The study is based on unclaimed written sources at the time, reflecting historical reality in this matter and having a scientific and historical value. 

The book by Y. S. Rozadorsky Love your land: [City of Kirov: notes] (St. Petersburg, 2015) tells about the history of Vyatka and its inhabitants. When writing the work, stories and anecdotes from the works of Kirov poets, writers and fellow countrymen of local lore were used.

Monograph by P. D. Nikolaenko Prince V. P. Kochubei - the first Minister of Internal Affairs of Russia (St. Petersburg, 2009) is the first in Russian historiography study of the life and work of Prince Victor Pavlovich Kochubey, who left a deep imprint in the history of Russia. Based on a wide range of archival sources and published materials for the first time introduced into scientific circulation, the author recreates the historical portrait of the first minister of the interior: his reform approaches to solving state problems, business and moral qualities, attitude towards subordinates, behavior in the family and in Life. 

The book by Y. N. Kruzhnov, "The Blue Handkerchief" by Lieutenant Maximov (St. Petersburg, 2017) tells about Mikhail Maximov, the author of the words for the legendary song of the Great Patriotic War - The Blue Handkerchief. It is presented reliable information based on documents and personal memories that reveal the lieutenant's versatile personality.

The methodical manual for schoolchildren T. I. Timofeeva Julian Semenov: to investigate the proceed (St. Petersburg, 2016) introduces the life and work of the founder of domestic investigative journalism. The publication is accompanied by the work of young correspondents and the team game "Julian Semenov: to investigate the proceeding".  

The proposed book by A. L. Kazin First and last: the textbook of Russian (St. Petersburg, 2015) is simultaneously a literary, religious, philosophical and art history narrative about the main stages of the history of culture - European and Russian.

A. N. Tsymbal the book Profession - Healing: the contribution of military doctors to the health of servicemen affected by radiation (St. Petersburg, 2016) highlighted the 30-year experience of dynamic monitoring of the health of servicemen who underwent radioactive exposure and post-extreme correction in outpatient practice (1896-2005). The authors for the first time publish some personal memories of servicemen of different generations, witnesses and participants in various man-made disasters.

Songs by A. M. Gorodnitsky, published in the collection of 2005, quite fully represent the work of one of the founders of the author's song, which began with Okudzhava and Wizbor.

The work by T. Hartwig God and the Last Judgment (M., 1926) reflects the policy of the Soviet state in the 1920s in relation to religion and the church. The work was published by the journal Atheist, the main purpose of which was to cover the problem of the history of religion and the history of atheism, the print of a chronicle of the spread of atheism in the USSR and abroad, and translations (including bourgeois scientists) of religion and the church.
