Schoolchildren of Tyumen Region joined the final stage of the Presidential Library's Olympiad

The third round of the educational project of the Presidential Library “Russia in the Electronic World” was held. This year, 15 venues were used in Tyumen Region for the full-time round of the Olympiad: participants were met in Abatsky, Aromashevsky, Berdyuzhsky, Sorokinsky, Sladkovsky, Kazansky, Ishimsky, Uporovsky municipal districts, Zavodoukovsky and Golyshmanovsky urban districts, as well as in Tyumen and Yalutorovsk.

71 people from Tyumen Region joined the final, third stage of the annual interactive Olympiad: 7 of them demonstrated their knowledge in history, 34 participants in social studies, 30 participants in the Russian language.

The Olympiad tasks are based on the materials from the electronic collections of the Presidential Library. Therefore, studying the resources of the official library's portal helped the children answer the contest questions as completely and accurately as possible. Participants from Tyumen Region trained in advance on tasks from the Olympiad of previous years, posted on the project website in the “Archive” section.

In total, more than 1,100 schoolchildren from Tyumen Region joined the contest this academic year. We thank the teachers for preparing their students, and the children for their pursuit of knowledge; We are confident that the experience of participating in the Olympiad, regardless of the results, will give them more confidence in their abilities and knowledge in the future. We look forward to the results of this intellectual contest.
