China hosted Russian educational exhibition

3 April 2024

The exhibition of Russian higher educational institutions was held in the Dadukou district of Chongqing which involved sixteen universities. The exhibition was organized by the Russian Cultural Center in Beijing with the support of the Chongqing City Education Commission, the City Foreign Affairs Administration, the Dadukou District People's Government and the Dadukou District Education Committee.

The exhibition was visited by students from many higher educational institutions in Chongqing. At the opening ceremony, students from Shuangshan Primary School in Dadukou District introduced traditional and modern Chinese culture to guests.

Russian universities presented their educational organizations and the prospects for the development of Russian education. During the event, representatives of higher educational institutions of the two countries agreed to continue and strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, culture and science. The parties also intend to promote student exchanges.

The educational exhibition will expand cooperation between Russian and Chinese universities and will contribute to the creation of a platform for interuniversity exchanges.

The exhibition in Chongqing became the final traveling exhibition of Russian education. The Russian House in Beijing and representatives of Russian universities intend to continue cooperation in this format. There are plans to include more Chinese cities in the traveling exhibition route, which will contribute to further inter-university interaction.
