The heads of libraries of Trans-Baikal Territory presented with the resources of the Presidential Library

On April 4, 2024 the Pushkin Transbaikal Regional Universal Scientific Library hosted a workshop and a meeting of regional library leaders - “Public libraries of Transbaikalia: main directions, tasks, prospects”.

The event was attended by heads of 35 regional libraries.

It should be noted that on the territory of the Russian Federation and in 35 foreign countries the Presidential Library has opened more than 1,600 remote access centers. They are based on the representative offices of Rossotrudnichestvo and national libraries. Their visitors can learn about the variety of collections of the library’s electronic holdings, as well as participate in various projects.

The Presidential Library's portal feaures the collection Trans-Baikal Territory: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, studies, essays, reports, statistical data and other materials covering various aspects of the region’s development in the 19th – 21st centuries.
