The solemn presentation of certificates of professional development of Ural teachers held in Yekaterinburg

The Tyumen branch of the Yeltsin Presidential Library jointly with the Yekaterinburg City Duma implemented a project. The aim of the project was to connect remote access centers to the information resources of the Presidential Library in seven leading schools of the city.

Also, during the project, on March 18-22, 2024, distance learning was organized for teachers from educational institutions connected to the information resources of the Presidential Library. It was the additional professional program "Improving the efficiency of the educational process based on the methodology of using digital resources of the Presidential Library."

Currently, 32 teachers of Ural schools can use their knowledge about information resources and educational projects of the Presidential Library in their professional activities.

On April 25, the solemn presentation of certificates of professional development took place in the Yekaterinburg City Duma. The event was attended by Anna Gurariy, Chairman of the Yekaterinburg City Duma, Oleg Shor, Director of the Department for Work with Regions of the Presidential Library, Yaroslavna Soglaeva – Deputy Director of the branch (for development) and Olga Nachapkina – Deputy Director for scientific and methodological activities of the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, who supervised the Sverdlovsk Regional Center of the Presidential Library.

Yekaterinburg teachers became one of the first in Russia to receive such training. The teachers received a state-issued document from the hands of Oleg Shor. He noted that the project is a powerful start in the formation of a culture of working with the primary source of both teachers and students of Yekaterinburg.
