The Presidential Library took part in Russian Educational Forum "State Value Policy in the education system"

On May 14-15, 2024, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation is holding the II Russian Educational Forum "State Value Policy in the education system" based on the Moscow Pedagogical State University.

The forum is organized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Moscow Pedagogical State University, the Russian Scientific and Methodological Center "Philosophy of Education" and the Association for the Development of Pedagogical Education.

On May 14, representatives of the Presidential Library took part in the event. Igor Solonko, Director of the Department for Scientific and Educational Work, spoke at the expert session "Formation of patriotism as a strategic task in building a sovereign system of Russian education (based on the materials of the unified state history textbook)" with a report on the topic "Collections of the Presidential Library in a unified history textbook: in the service of patriotic education."

Oleg Shor, Director of the branch of the Presidential Library in Tyumen region, spoke at the meeting "Fundamentals of Russian Statehood: teaching experience at pedagogical universities" with a report "Information resources of the Presidential Library as a tool for historical education of the younger generation."

The purpose of the II Russian Educational Forum "State Value Policy in the education system" is to consolidate approaches of the implementation of state value policy to strengthen the sovereign national education system.

The forum discusses the issues of building a sovereign system of preschool, school, secondary professional and higher pedagogical education based on traditional Russian spiritual and moral values, ensuring effective counteraction to external challenges, contributing to the formation of a harmoniously developed personality, the formation of patriotic attitudes among students, as well as Russian natioal identity.

Forum participants are representatives of regional ministries of education, university rectors, heads of professional educational organizations, members of the Association for the Development of Teacher Education, heads of educational development institutes, cultural figures, teachers, representatives of parent associations and public organizations.
