Links to Presidential Library's resources included in "Teacher and Pupil" section of "Istoriya.RF" portal

The main historical portal of the country, Istoriya.rf, and the project Teacher and Pupil present a new collection of materials in documents.

In the "To Teacher and Pupil" section, all documents are conveniently organised by paragraphs of the unified state history textbooks. Now students have the opportunity not only to watch thematic videos and read articles, but also to study the subject using real historical documents.

The Presidential Library of the Presidential Administration of the Russian Federation made it possible to realise such a large and complex project and to select documents for all textbook topics. The staff of the Presidential Library made a careful and accurate selection of materials that serve as a visual and reliable illustration of historical events.

The Presidential Library and the Russian Military Historical Society are actively developing joint projects within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum last year. One of the key areas of joint work is to strengthen the ideas of citizenship and patriotism in the public consciousness, primarily among young people, and to provide objective coverage of historical facts and events.

The project Teacher and Pupil is a unique resource base of additional materials for teachers of Russian history and general history in Russian educational institutions, as well as for students - for a deeper and more exciting study of history.
