Ivan and Marya art exhibition opened in Reserve Center of Presidential Library

On April 3, 2025 the grand opening of the exhibition Ivan and Marya by artists Ivan Krivshinko and Maria Russkaya took place at the Reserve Center of the Presidential Library on Slavyanskaya Square in Moscow.

This family and creative partnership has existed for over 24 years, and their works touch on important themes such as family and homeland.

The exhibition will showcase paintings that explore the contrasting themes of war and peace, allowing viewers to witness historical events unfold before their eyes. Through their work, Ivan and Maria convey the faith of people in eternal values such as the comfort of family, the warmth of parents, and the happiness of children.

The authors of the Ivan and Marya exhibition are members of the Union of Artists of Russia and the International Art Foundation. Ivan Krivshinko, who studied at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture named after Ilya Glazunov, works as a restorer at the M. B. Grekov Studio of Military Artists. He has traveled to the war-torn regions of Donbass and worked directly from nature. In 2023, Krivshinko led the restoration of the Stalingrad Battle Panorama in Volgograd.

Maria Russkaya, who graduated with honors from Penza Art College named after K. A. Savitsky, focuses on family and traditional values in her work.

Ivan and Marya exhibition at the Presidential Library Reserve Center will be on display until April 23rd, 2025.

The exhibition is available on weekdays, from 09:00 to 17:00, the excursions are given in organized groups.
