In the year of the 300th anniversary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Presidential Library and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will sign a cooperation agreement, within the framework of which all educational institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will be connected to the library's electronic resources.

This was announced on the basis of the visit of Lieutenant-General Vladimir Kubyshko, the head of the Department of Civil Service and Personnel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, to the Presidential Library and negotiations with the Director General of the institution Alexander Vershinin.

At present, the electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library have already been opened at the Saint-Petersburg University of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and the Chita Suvorov Military School of the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Russia. The development of cooperation with military educational institutions will not only provide access to the entire fund of the Presidential Library, which today has more than 500,000 items of storage reflecting the history of Russian statehood, theory and practice of law, but also the Russian language as the state language of the Russian Federation. Information resources can be used in research and study of such disciplines as history, political science, theory of state and law, and others. In addition, it will enable cadets and teachers to participate in the educational projects of the Presidential Library.

Within the jubilee year and the signed agreement, it is also planned to hold a scientific and practical conference in the Presidential Library with the participation of scientists, researchers, veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia and foreign delegations.
