Opening of the center for remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library in the Kh. B. Bayramukova State National Library of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic

August 15, 2017 within the framework of the 95th anniversary of the Kh. B. Bayramukova State National Library of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic and the 100th anniversary of the birth of the People's Writer Kh. B. Bayramukova, a grand opening of the center for remote access to the Presidential Library resources took place of the base of the State National Library.

Welcoming speech at the opening was made by the Chairman of the People's Assembly (Parliament) of KChR Alexander Ivanov, from the side of the Presidential Library the audience was addressed by the Director General Alexander Vershinin. The words of gratitude to the leadership of the Republic and the Presidential Library of the Russian Federation were made by the Director of the State National Library Salih Khapchaev.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Karachay-Cherkess Republic: pages of history". The selection includes studies, essays, archival documents, postcards, sound recordings and other materials reflecting the administrative, socio-economic, socio-political and cultural development of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic of the XIX-XX centuries.
