President of the Russian Library Association visited the Center for Access to the Resources of the Presidential Library in Tambov

Within the framework of the working trip to the 15th Davydovsky Readings in the Tambov region, Mikhail Afanasyev, President of the Russian Library Association, Director of the Russian National Public Library for History and Honored Worker of Culture of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Education Sciences met with the leadership and staff of the Pushkin Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library and visited its museum. In addition, the head of the RBA visited the regional center for access to the information resources of the Presidential Library, the departments of local history bibliography and rare books.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "The Tambov region: pages of history". The compilation includes digital copies of studies, statistical materials and archival documents of the late XVIII and early XX centuries that characterize the administrative, economic, demographic, educational and religious situation of the Tambov province.
