The film highlights the history of the Church of St. Savior built in 1859 in the center of the village of Vengerovo in the Novosibirsk region, which used to be one of the most beautiful churches in the region. During the Soviet era, the church was demolished domes, the roof of the bell tower, crosses, the church became a single-domed. The building of the church was returned to the Orthodox Church in 1992. Today, a whole temple complex has been created in Vengerovo. Since October 2002, the temple complex in the village of Vengerovo is the home of the monastery of the Holy New Martyrs of the Russian city of Novosibirsk - one of the largest monastic cloisters of the Novosibirsk diocese .
