The collection of materials includes: a photo of Yakov Faivouz Moroz (in military uniform), a photograph of the medals "For the Liberation of Prague" and "For Victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945", certificates for medals. Moroz Yakov Faivovich for participation in the heroic assault and liberation of Prague by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 9, 1945 was awarded the medal "For the Liberation of Prague". The medal was awarded on July 10, 1948. The medal is a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the front side of the medal: at the top along the rim there is the inscription "FOR RELEASE", under it the inscription "PRAGUE", below - the image of the rising sun and two laurel branches connected under a five-pointed star. The front side of the coin is bordered with a ledge. On the reverse side: the date of the liberation of Prague - "May 9, 1945", under the date of the five-pointed star. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The medal with the ear and ring is connected to a pentagonal shoe covered with a lilac silk moire ribbon, in the middle of the tape - a blue strip. The certificate to the medal: A No. 111276. On the certificate the coat of arms of the USSR has 11 ribbons. The document is filled with purple ink, sealed. On the certificate is a handwritten signature: ... Lieutenant-Colonel ... (illegible). Art. sergeant of the reserve Moroz Yakov Faivovich for participation in the Great Patriotic War, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 9, 1945, was awarded the medal "For victory over Germany in the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945." The medal was awarded on February 27, 1946. The medal is a regular circle with a diameter of 32 mm. On the front side of the medal: the profile pectoral image of Stalin IV in the form of the Marshal of the Soviet Union, turned to the left. In the upper part of the medal on the circumference there is the inscription "OUR CASE OF LAW", in the lower part of the circumference there is the inscription "WE WIN." On the reverse side of the coin are inscriptions: along the rim - "FOR VICTORY OVER GERMANY", in the center - "IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR 1941-1945", at the bottom - a five-pointed star. All inscriptions and images on the medal are convex. The medal with the ear and ring is connected with a pentagonal shoe, covered with silk moire ribbon. On the tape 5 longitudinal equal in width alternating strips - 3 black and 2 orange. Features of the medal: the ear of the medal is attached by soldering. This option was manufactured immediately after the end of the Great Patriotic War in 1945-1946. The certificate to the medal: And No. 0067227.
