On the eve of the new 2012, the staff of the Presidential Library visited the children's hospice in the village of Olgino, where they took part in a charity evening and a concert for children. The guest of honor of the evening was the Russian Grandfather Frost from Veliky Ustyug, beloved by all the children, who congratulated the audience on the upcoming holiday. In the hospice children undergoing rehabilitation with oncological diseases are being rehabilitated. On a country cottage in Olgino they are restored after courses and radiation and chemotherapy. The hospice specialists try to diversify the children's leisure time, fill it with communication and creativity, with everything their peers have. Despite their serious illnesses, the guests of the hospice remain children who believe in a miracle and are waiting for interesting presents on New Year's Eve. The staff of the Presidential Library hopes that the gifts that were given to the children will make their time in Olginino more interesting and bring joy. All library staff sincerely congratulate the New Year and wish the children a speedy recovery. |
