The collection of materials includes: a photograph of Yuri Mikhailovich Chigirev (1987 , in a dress suit, with awards), a photograph of the medal "For Courage" and a certificate for the medal. The medal is a regular circle with a diameter of 37 mm, made of silver. On the front side of the coin, in the upper part, three aircraft flying one after another are shown in the direction to the left upwards. Below the aircraft is placed in two lines the inscription "FOR THE REFUSAL", under which the tank is depicted. At the bottom of the coin is the inscription "USSR". All the images on the medal are embossed, the inscriptions are imprinted, covered with ruby-red enamel. The front side of the coin is bordered with a ledge. The medal with the ear and ring is connected to a pentagonal kolodochka, covered with a silk moire ribbon of gray color with two longitudinal blue strips along the edges. Features of the medal: on the obverse of the medal, the right defensive shield of the tank stands prominently behind the contour of the track. The ear of the medal is attached by soldering. On the reverse number is 2032559. The serial number is made by stamping, the numbers of the number are packed with wide punches. The certificate to the medal No. 280479 was given to Chigirev Yuri Mikhailovich on November 24, 1945. On the 2nd p. covers have a stamp "Indeed without a photo", the owner's own signature of the identity card is missing. On the 1st s. ID: the surname, name, patronymic of the owner. On the second with. certificates are listed medals: "For courage" (No. 2032559), below - handwritten signature: Secretary of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR A. Gorkin. The document is filled with black ink, certified by the stamp of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. In the certificate also: Extract from the provisions on the medals of the USSR - "For Courage", "For Military Merit", "For Labor Valor" and "For Labor Distinction." Location: From a private collection. - Chigirev Yury Mikhailovich (born January 20, 1925 in Rostov, Yaroslavl Region) - went to the front in January 1943. He studied at the Tambov Machine-Gun School. Member of the Battle of Kursk. He fought in the Bryansk Front. Was injured. He fought in the third Belorussian Front. Participated in the combat operation "Bagration". During the war he also served as a cryptographer. Has numerous awards .
