On May 23, 2011, the official opening ceremony of the first regional branch of the Presidential Library was held. B. N. Yeltsin in the Tyumen region. The branch is equipped with an electronic entry point for readers, a conference room, a scanning center and an electronic reading room designed for 90 seats, multimedia booths for viewing and listening to video and audio materials. On the same day, an agreement was signed on cooperation between the Presidential Library and the Government of the Tyumen Region. On behalf of the library, the agreement was signed by the General Director A. P. Vershinin, on behalf of the Government of the region - the Governor of the region V. V. Yakushev. The delegation of the Presidential Library also took part in the work of the All-Russian Library Congress, within the framework of which a presentation of the regional and international network of the Presidential Library was held with the participation of representatives of the Culture Department of the Tyumen Region. |
