The film is a collection of stories about pre-revolutionary Russia. In the video: Nicholas II with the prince and the ladies, the soldiers of His Imperial Majesty the Life Guards of the Pavlovsky Grenadier Regiment march, the priests pass through the Kremlin Square, the masses, state people, the kinds of Russian cities (temples, streets), urban and peasant people (on a walk , in the market), the landowner and his wife are drinking tea in the garden, the volost sergeants are passing by. The caption: "30,000 landlords had as much land as 10 million peasant households." In the picture: a peasant plows the land .
