On April 5, 2024, the Collection "World War II in archival documents", posted on the portal of the Presidential Library, was replenished with more than 250 documents related to the key period of the Great Patriotic War from November 19, 1942 to November 7, 1944.
Among the materials received from the holdings of the State Archive of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Archive of Film and Photographic Documents and the FSB of Russia are Decrees of the Presidium of the Supreme USSR Soviet on the establishment of the main military awards of the Great Patriotic War: the Orders of Victory and Glory, Orders of Bogdan Khmelnitsky, Orders of Ushakov and Orders of Nakhimov; medals "For the Defence of Leningrad", "For the Defence of Odessa", "For the Defence of Sevastopol", "For the Defence of Stalingrad", "For the Defence of the Caucasus", "For the Defence of Moscow", "Partisan of the Patriotic War", Ushakov and Nakhimov medals.
