On April 18, the Presidential Library hosted a lecture by the Vice-rector for Educational Activities and Youth Policy of Herzen University, Head of the Department of Russian History from ancient Times to the beginning of the twentieth century, Professor Roman Sokolov. Roman Alexandrovich spoke about Alexander Nevsky's military victories during the video lecture "Knowledge of Russia".

Students of the Institute of History and Social Sciences of the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia and St. Petersburg schoolchildren took part in the discussion of the lecture. They actively asked questions to the lecturer. Anton Druzhevsky, methodologist of the Department of Research and Educational Programs of the Presidential Library, acted as the moderator of the event. He spoke about the collection of electronic books dedicated to Alexander Nevsky, which are stored in the library and to which access is freely to all comers.
