Preserving historical memory and developing the interest of young generations in the cultural heritage of Russia is a strategic focus of the partnership between the Presidential Library and Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO). The partnership is implemented in line with the event approach. For several years, the parties have been organizing and conducting educational events for schoolchildren and teachers, designed to convey interest in national history, culture of Russian statehood, and the living Russian language.
The Historical Ball, which is held by the team of the Gorchakov Lyceum of MGIMO in the space of the Column Hall of the Presidential Library, is becoming traditional. For the second time, the ball gathers high school students from different regions of the country. This year, the pupils of the Nakhimov Naval School joined the tradition of the historical ball.
