Anton Svanebah (1800-1889), a commander of the Pskov half-battalion of military cantonists, Head of the Minsk and Volyn Chambers of State Property, retired State Councillor. He was awarded several orders.     Nikolai Muravyov (1775-1845), a historian and archaeologist, Novgorod governor, Privy Councilor, State Secretary of Alexander I and Nicholas I.
