Pioneer Organization in Russian History

The collection marking the centenary of the creation of the All-Union Pioneer Organization contains official documents, archival materials, research works, methodological manuals, photographs, postcards, posters, notes revealing various aspects of the activities of the Pioneer Organization, including in the Union republics of the USSR.

Materials from the holdings of the Centre of Social and Political History of the State Public Historical Library, the Library of the Presidential Executive Office of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Arts, the State Historical Archive of Chuvash Republic, the Belgorod State Universal Research Library, the State Universal Research Library of Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Novosibirsk State Regional Research Library, the Omsk State Regional Research Library, the Sverdlovsk Regional Research Library for Children and Youth, the Tambov Regional Universal Scientific Library, the Chelyabinsk Regional Universal Research Library, the Children’s Postcard Museum, private collections of N. V. Balachenkova and V. I. Yolkin were used in preparing the collection.
