During the construction works of the bridge across the Kerch Strait, an archaeological survey of the bottom was carried out, which resulted in the discovery of four aircraft -turmovik Il-2, crashed and crashed in 1943 during the Kerch-Eltigen landing operation of the Red Army. The expedition was conducted in several stages.
