On March 3rd, 1613, an important event took place in Russia - the election of a new tsar of Moscow, Mikhail Fyodorovich Romanov, who came from an ancient family of Moscow nobles, known since the 14th century. He was the son of Patriarch Filaret, who was born as Fyodor Nikitich Romanov. The Romanov dynasty ruled Russia for over 300 years.

Presidential Library Take part in All-Russian competition of research projects "No Statute of Limitations" with Presidential Library
On March 1, 2025, the All-Russian competition for research projects No Statute of Limitations will start.
The competition was established by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation as part of the educational project No Statute of Limitations, initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin and aimed at preserving the memory of the Great Patriotic War among contemporaries.
