The State Historical Museum (Moscow) will launch a new mobile app with an audio guide before the year is out. The new service will feature over 200 audio files dedicated to unique exhibits, including the famous Galich city hoard with its animal figurines, Alexander II’s pen, Ivan the Terrible’s sackcloth (hair-shirt), Prince Vladimir’s gold coin and many other things.

It commemorates the 95th anniversary of Alexander Grin’s move to Feodosia. In the spotlight of the exhibition is a house, where the writer was happy. 640 years ago, on September 8, 1380, the Battle of Kulikovo took place - a battle between the Russian troops under the united command of Prince Dmitry of Moscow and the armies of the Golden Horde under the command of Mamai. The bloody battle was at the Kulikovo Field between the Don, Nepryadva and Krasivaya Mecha rivers in the southeast of modern Tula Region.
