Dogadin's Astrakhan State Picture Gallery is marking the Orthodox Book Day (celebrated on March 14) and presents "Pskovo-Pechersky Monastery" picture by Eduard Vyrzhikovsky (1970). The Orthodox Book Day on March 14 is a holiday of the Russian Orthodox Church, which is marking the date of "The Apostle" release - the first Russian printed book. It was published on March 1, 1564. This holiday has been celebrated since 2010.
