Exhibitions: Special exposition of Easter eggs from the collections of the State Historical Museum to hold in Tula

In May, the Tula branch of the State Historical Museum will present 30 porcelain Easter eggs. The decoration plots are diverse and full of spring spirit. There are flower bouquets and plants, landscapes (including recognizable urban views) and biblical stories.

On January 27th 2012 which sees 68th anniversary of the full liberation of Leningrad, St. Petersburg will hold memorial ceremonies of laying wreaths and flowers at Piskarevskoye, Serafimovskoye, Bogoslovskoye and Nevskoye cemeteries. In celebration of the end of the Siege of Leningrad city’s inhabitants will lay flowers to monuments of Zhukov and Govorov and “Hero-City Leningrad” stele.

All 6,000 maps published in the magazine "National Geographic", starting from 1888 to the present day, are available for the first time online.
