The Internet was hooked up in the Tyumen regional library of D.I.Mendeleyev

Connection of all branches of the Tyumen regional library of D.I.Mendeleyev to a VPN-network "Sinterra-Ural" ended day ago. Except the organisation and support of a network the company ensures library broadband access to the Internet and services of a digital telephony. Readers of the Tyumen regional library got high-speed access to resources of the Internet and electronic archives –both local, and federal, including one and a half million digitized pages of presidential library named after B.N.Yeltsin recently opened in St.-Petersburg. The Tyumen regional scientific library is archives of universal fund which kepps about 2,67 million documents. Ppresenting the project, the general director of "Sinterra-Ural" Vyacheslav Kurbet told: «Digitizining in 3D format of library gives great opportunities for quick access to them of the big user groups».
