"The Pushkin hall" opens in National library of Cuba

Alexander Pushkin's hall opens in National library of Cuba named after José Marti'. In "the Pushkin hall" libraries all comers can get acquainted with new and classical examples of the Russian literature, the modern periodicals, and also use of multimedia resources on language studying. According to the first deputy of the Minister of Cultural Affairs of Cuba Raphael Bernal Alemany, creation of the Hall of Alexander Pushkin in National library - "a remarkable step" to development of a bipartite cultural contact. "On Cuba there are a lot who studied in the USSR, who are interested in Russian and Russian culture. Our countries have a lot in common in cultural values, and Hall creation is a remarkable step to our teamwork", - he told. The director of National library Eduardo Torres noticed, today interest of Cubans to Russian language considerably grows. "Now there is a big necessity (Russian studying)", - the director told. "Signing convention we on cultural interest which many Cubans have got", - he continued.
