Pride of the Russian army in an exposition of the St.-Petersburg Military-historical museum

The smart carriage of 1760 YrBlt was presented after restoration by the St.-Petersburg Military-historical museum. The carriage used for export in especially solemn event of a colour of the First artillery regiment granted in 1745 by empress Elizabeth Petrovna. At the time of emperor Nikolay the first colour received the status standard of all Russian artillery. The ancient carriage big shell-shaped, has been made by Russian masters at the direction of count P.I.Shuvalov. Ritual of colour export on a carriage existed in many European armies, but the analogue of Russian carriage is not exist in any of world museums.
