Visit of the descendant of an imperial family to Petersburg

To Petersburg from Copenhagen there has arrived prince Dmitry Romanov — the great-great-grandson of last emperor of Russia Nikolay II. On July, 17th Day of memory of an imperial family and visit of the descendant of an imperial family is celebrated connected with this date. In Petropavlovsk a cathedral there will pass this day solemn service. Dmitry Romanov has brought to a gift an icon from the personal collection which will be stored in a temple of the Feodorovsky icon of Bozhiej of Mother about the Moscow station. Now prince Dmitry Romanov (1926 of the river) lives in Denmark, in Copenhagen and heads welfare fund «Romanovs for Russia». From the beginning of 1990th he regularly visits Russia, participates in religious and political ceremonies, is engaged in charity.
