Society and media: The second Caspian Media Forum is to be prepared

Deputy Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Alexei Volin and the head of the government of the Astrakhan region Konstantin Markelov held a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation of the second Caspian Media Forum, which will take place from 22 to 23 September 2016. During the meeting, the parties reviewed the readiness of Astrakhan facilities for the event, and also noted the interest of the federal mass media and a number of scientific and educational centers associated with the media sphere, to participate in the upcoming event. The forum will be attended by about 500 people from Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Iran.

During the second Caspian Media Forum will be held discussions projects of bilateral and multilateral media cooperation, as well as prospects for the development of media sphere, held a meeting with students of the Astrakhan University, planned to sign agreements on cooperation between the media of the Caspian states. The forum will organize a special youth edition of converged, and the presentation will take place in the sphere of tourism projects. As part of the media forum also will be held an international competition of television, print and photographic works "Caspian Dream".
