Information technology and libraries: The center for digitizing library funds was opened in the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Library

Center for digitization of library collections was opened in the Lenin Nizhny Novgorod Regional Library on September 27, 2016.

The network planetary scanner ElarSKAN A2-400 was delivered in the library. It is able to quickly digitize color and black-and-white magazines, catalogs, newspapers, books and other bound documents up to A2 + size (600 × 425 mm).

By December 2017, on the eve of the 150th anniversary of the writer Maxim Gorky, at the Center for digitization of the library will be created an electronic full-text collection of "Maxim Gorky: re-reading again". It will include about 20 lifetime editions of individual works of the writer, selected books, literature and articles about him.
