Society and reading: Inter-regional festival of national book "Reading World" in Ryazan

From September 29 to October 3, 2016 in the Ryazan region is held the Interregional Festival of the national book "Reading world".

The festival has a long tradition. Beginning in the mid-90s of the last century with the exhibition "Published in Ryazan", it has become a powerful action, uniting publishers, writers and readers from different regions of Russia. Many festival events are aimed at promoting books, reading, national literatures and languages, the formation of a positive image of the reading person.

Timed to Yesenin days in the region, "Reading World" will draw attention to Ryazan as the cultural center of Russia.

Within the framework of inter-regional festival of national book "Reading World" will be held Book Fair, which will present the products of Russian and foreign publishing houses, publishing institutions and organizations.

Among the activities of the festival - a traditional competition "Book of the Year", literary festivals, presentations of new books and magazines, performances of creative professional and amateur groups, and others.
