Memory of Russia: A regional historical and patriotic holiday "Staraya Ryazan"

July 15, 2017 on the ancient settlement of Staraya Ryazan (Spassky district of the Ryazan region) for the third time is held a regional historical and patriotic holiday "Staraya Ryazan", dedicated to the 780th anniversary of the heroic defense of the city from the Horde invasion.

Visitors to the festival will have a unique opportunity to move to the atmosphere of the first capital of the Ryazan principality - the city of craftsmen and merchants, scribes and architects, gunsmiths and goldsmiths - for one day only eight hundred years ago, in the era of Ancient Rus.

For visitors there are interactive platforms "Journey to ancient Ryazan". Ten gaming stations will acquaint with the life of the city: the device of a medieval fortress, an ancient Russian temple and a city manor; they will tell about the traditions of the costume and about the trade relations of the Ryazan people.
