The Culture of Renaissance Festival «The Alexandria Roundabout» - is the most long-awaited event of summer. Since 2010 the festival has been attracting residents and guests of Peterhof who are willing to come and take part in the event in Alexandria park. The centerpiece of the grand celebration is the theatrical equestrian show with the elements of opera and ballet. This year the event is running on June 30 – July 1.

"Carousel of educational games" in the Regional Center of the Presidential Library of Republic of Khakassia

The Regional Center of the Presidential Library of Republic of Khakassia based on the Domozhakov National Library launched a new project - "Carousel of educational games". The first online game was dedicated to Mikhail Mikhailovich Speransky, an outstanding statesman of the 19th century who proved to Emperor Alexander I the need for liberal reforms in Russia.

The 47th All-Russian Lermontov Poetry Festival is opening in Penza on July 6. On this day an outdoor library will welcome its visitors, while works of young artists will be displayed as a part of an exhibition. Apart from this, guests of the celebrations will have a chance to see the show of costumes of 19th century, and listen to the poems of Mikhail Lermontov recited by the artists of «The Poet’s Voice» theatre.

Zemsky Sobor in 1613 (section Romanovs at the end of XVIII - the beginning of XX century) has been enriched with materials from the State Public Historical Library, the Russian State Historical Archive, the Russian State Library, the Russian Institute of History of Art, the Library of the Moscow Theological Academy, Children's Museum of postcard.

A grand concert, dedicated to Maslenitsa, took place in the prestigious concert hall of London - Cadogan Hall. The concert was the culmination of the Russian Week and demonstrated the traditional and modern aspects of Russian culture. There were performed musical works of different genres - from classics and folklore to variety art. A number of folklore works were adapted to a modern foreign listener.
