Pavel Einbrodt (1808 - 1857), a chemist, Doctor of Physics and Chemistry, Professor. He was an entrepreneur of Chuvash Region and author of works on general chemistry. In 1854, because of the poor health, he retired and settled near Yadrin. He studied the sulfur pyrite deposits in the Yadrinsky and Kurmysh districts and received permission to build a sulfur production plant.
