On October 5, 2024, the Second Baltic Charity Ball will be held in St. Petersburg to celebrate the International Music Day. The event will take place in the Column Hall of the Presidential Library, located at Senate Square, 3. Sergei Rachmaninoff, a brilliant pianist and composer of the Silver Age, was born 150 years ago on April 1, 1873. Even despite the fact that after the October Revolution he emigrated to America and lived there for the last third of his life, his name is forever associated with Russian music, and his works are known and loved all over the world. By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation, 2023 in Russia is dedicated to the celebration of the anniversary of our great compatriot.
